Don’t be fooled by the mild mannered exterior of Christopher Allis. His intensity as a drummer will certainly catch you off guard. Coming from a family of drummers (father and brother) in upstate New York, Christopher came to Los Angeles 8 years ago and hasn’t stopped working since. His ability to play jazz, funk, rock and blues with equal comfort and authority has kept his date book very full. Not only can he keep time but his ears and heart allow him to play with a musicality and instinct that is unfortunately lacking in most drummers.
