6. Cheshire Moon

Album: One Drop of Poison

Track 6. Cheshire Moon

Now when the night is late and you’re longing for me
Just turn your face up into the darkened skies
You’ll see a slip of light as the mornings dawning
Behold the reckless jewel I have gone to find

And now the Cheshire Moon will guide me
With his smile, oh yeah
You know the Cheshire Moon will try to drive you wild

I’ve been down the rabbit hole
I’ve sailed on a sea of my tears
If there’s one thing I’ve learned
It’s leave no stone unturned
Who needs regret through the years

So if you dare to follow the path behind me
Just set aside you fears and begin to climb
Much better lost than stuck in the mire behind you
At least the journey there will be quite a time

And now the Cheshire Moon will guide me
With his smile, oh yeah
Beware the Cheshire Moon will try to drive you wild
