All the songs on it--including the latest version of "Random Act of Kindness," whose soft, ballad-like original always struck an emotional cord in me--are pitch-perfect. The same gentle plea for greater human awareness of each other is still there, but the energy level has been ramped up to the point where it's totally infectious: the listener ends up just itching to hit the streets, and find someone to care for in some unexpected way that will make BOTH of them smile! "Salvation" is a rocking challenge to all the religious fundamentalists, political sharks and ass-kissing opportunists; it reminds me a little of Neil Young's clarion-call, "Keep on Rockin' in the Free World." Well, Circe et al. you took it to a new level at the Grand Ole Echo, and if that show is but an ECHO of things to come, I just can't wait for more!
